All games shall be played in the spirit of fairplay and mutual respect for players and officials.

Group matches and semi-finals:

 

  • The matches take place on two courts (small court) next to each other: one for women and one for men competition.
  • Game times are 2 x 12 minutes; the clock will only be stopped during free throws.
  • Each team has one-minute time-out per half.
  • The half-time break is 5 minutes.
  • With four personal fouls in a game, the player is fouled out. (Technical and unsportsmanlike fouls counts as personal fouls).
  • From 5 teamfouls in each half onwards the opposing team will receive two free throws after each foul.
  • To avoid intentional delay of game, referees are instructed to call a „24 shot clock violation” or technical foul in cases of abusive time waste.
  • In case of a tie after the regular playing time, the game will be expanded for an over-time of 2 minutes (in case of a draw after overtime, additional 2 minutes overtime have to be played and so on).
  • The referee, however, can at any time decide to stop the clock in case of longer breaks (e.g. inju-ry).

 

  • The 3rd place matches are 2 x 12 minutes, still played on small courts, the above rules apply.

 

Finals:

 

  • The matches are played on large court.
  • Game times are 2 x 12 minutes, the clock will only be stopped during free throws.
  • Each team has one-minute time-out per half.
  • Shot-clock rule applies.
  • With five personal fouls in a game, the player is fouled out. (technical and unsportsmanlike fouls count as personal fouls).
  • From 5 teamfouls in each half onwards the opposing team will receive two free throws after each foul.
